Thank you to all choirs who responded to the request for the preference of their choir for the MCAA 2025 Choral Festival which will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
The survey was due to be returned to Brian Buckley, the MCAA Secretary, by 16th February 2025.
All of the responses pointed to the weekend of 24th and 25th May 2025.
The Adelaide Organising Committee has booked the AEC for this weekend.
There will be a rehearsal at the AEC on Saturday 24th May from 12.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. with the orchestra and pianist who will support the Choristers.
On the Saturday evening the Organising Committee is working to organise the pre Festival dinner that has proven to be most popular at our last two Festivals.
The Festival will be held on the Sunday; more information will be supplied as it comes to hand.
The Organising Committee of the Metropolitan Male Choir of South Australia is currently negotiating with a travel agent to become a major sponsor for the Festival. It has also met with the Entertainment Centre making preliminary arrangements for the technical production and staging of the Festival.
Our Musical Director, Evan Patton, has been in contact with the Musical Director of each participating choir with regards the repertoire. The email has been sent on Saturday 24th February.
