MCAA Bulletin 8 – MCAA GALA DINNER ADELAIDE, Sunday 25th May 2025

The MCAA Gala Dinner will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Hall E/Foyer E, North Terrace, Adelaide following shortly after the conclusion of the concert at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre at 4.30pm.
COST: $80 per person
MEAL: Alternating main courses:
– EITHER: Chargrilled Barossa Chicken breast with Thyme, Kipler Potatoes, garlic green Beans, olive pumpkin puree, red onion jam, etc …….
– OR: Braised Scotch Fillet & Murray lands roasted lamb, rackmint peas, beetroot, carrots and Pinot jus……..
– All GF and NF
– DESSERT: Lemon Meringue Tart, Vanilla Pastry, Raspberry gel, champagne& quandong Sorbet with Sable Biscuit…..
DRINKS: At patrons’ expense via table service through drinks’ waiters. Waiters will serve three tables each. Waiters will have card machines. The Convention Centre is a cashless venue.

TIME: The Convention Centre will be open from 5.30pm. Drinks will be available from 5.30pm. Dinner will be served from 6.30pm. The evening will conclude at approximately 10.00pm.

Many dinner attendees will be needing to travel to the dinner venue immediately after the concert. The Adelaide Convention Centre is next to the Adelaide Railway Station, 3 kms from the Entertainment Centre with a Free Tram route running past both venues. Patrons may need to wait for following trams to accommodate the volume of patrons. Trams run approximately every 10 minutes.
Your choir has been asked to nominate one person to receive bookings and money. You will be asked to give your first and last name, the first and last name of your partner (if applicable), the first and last name of any non-choir friend joining you, the first and last name of your friend’s partner (if applicable) and any dietary needs to be met. You will be asked to deposit $80 per person into your choir’s bank account.
There will be 10 dinner guests per table. Adelaide MCAA organisers and staff at the Adelaide Convention Centre will allocate attendees randomly to tables. Your MCAA Committee and our Adelaide organisers wish to see the MCAA family integrate as much as possible and meet new friends. Couples will be placed together along with any non-choir friend (and partner if applicable) as indicated on the expression of interest proforma. Unaccompanied choristers will be similarly randomly allocated to tables. The Convention Centre will have a table allocation display at the entrance to the venue.
Total numbers, names, dietary needs and monies must be placed within your choir by 31st March 2025.
